Features

Everything a shared expense needs

Made for the way groups in India actually spend together.

Split it any way

Equally, by exact amounts, percentages, shares, with adjustments, or item by item from the bill.

Scan the bill

Photograph a restaurant bill and its lines fill in by themselves. The reading happens on your phone.

Fewer payments

Simplify debts works out the fewest payments that settle everyone up.

Gentle reminders

Nudge people who owe you with a notification, or share a friendly reminder on WhatsApp.

Works offline

No signal on the hill station? Add expenses anyway. They sync when you're back online.

Any currency

Travelling abroad? Add expenses in the currency you paid in.

In your language

Use the whole app in English, हिन्दी or ગુજરાતી, in light or dark mode.

Locked and private

Lock the app with a PIN or your fingerprint. No ads, and your data is never sold.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself

Make a group

Name it and invite people with a link, a QR code, or straight from your contacts. They can join later. Their share is kept for them.

Add what you spend

Whoever pays adds it, with a photo of the bill if they like. Everyone sees the same numbers, as they happen.

Settle up

Pay back by UPI, cash or however you like, then record it. Balances update for everyone at once.

Questions

Good to know

Is Split Mudra free?

Yes. Making groups, adding and splitting expenses, and settling up are free. Premium adds extras such as analytics, repeating expenses and group chat.

Does everyone in the group need the app?

No. Add someone by their mobile number or email and their share is kept. When they install Split Mudra and sign in with that number or email, everything is already there for them.

Does Split Mudra move my money?

No. Split Mudra keeps track of who owes whom. You pay each other the way you already do (UPI, cash, bank transfer) and record it in the app.

Which languages does it support?

English, Hindi and Gujarati. Each person picks their own, so a group can mix languages.

Is my data safe?

Everything travels encrypted, passwords are never stored in readable form, and only the people in a group can see its expenses. There are no ads and we never sell your data. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, from Profile in the app. Your name, email, phone number and photo are removed. Shared expenses stay in the group's history as "Deleted user", so everyone else's balances still add up.

Fewer awkward conversations about money

Split Mudra is coming soon to Android and iPhone.
